This iconic night marked the culmination of their Rotary Foundation Events, blending glamour with purpose and style with service. This fashion show served as a perfect, glittering crescendo to the Rotary Foundation’s 1-million-dollar collection challenge, successfully completed within the last 30 days of the current Rotary International year. It embodied the spirit of community, dedication, and impactful philanthropy that defined the entire fundraising drive, offering a vibrant and celebratory conclusion to their monumental achievement.
The event was honoured by the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Bharat Pandya, Rotary Foundation Trustee (India) who praised the bold synergy of creativity and cause. With him gracing the occasion was our Guest of Honour Shri Nirmal Jain, Chairman, IIFL Capital amongst the gathering.
A Collection of Timeless Elegance & Modern Flair: Mumtaz Khan’s “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam: Fashion for Cause”
Get ready to be mesmerized by Designer Mumtaz Khan’s breathtaking collection, “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam: Fashion for Cause”! This collection is not just a celebration of Indian traditions but also a mission to spread awareness about saving the environment and human body and skin. With the use of handloom khadi, cotton, and non-chemical prints, Designer Mumtaz Khan is truly making a statement with his eco-friendly fashion. The collection surely left the audience in awe, and the entire collection is a testament to the designer’s creativity and commitment to sustainable fashion.
Taking the runway by storm were 22 dazzling supermodels, confidently carrying looks that exuded style and class, choreographed by renowned fashion director Lovell Prabhu all the way from Pune to the rhythmic pulse of DJ Sanket’s beats. Each model became a living canvas, showcasing Mumtaz Khan’s powerful design language with poise and grace. As showstopper, Aadil Zafar Khan, whose acting journey includes his big screen debut in Shikara (2020) and recent rave reviews for his performance in Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, powerfully embodied the collection’s message of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam: Fashion for Cause.’ His presence lent a contemporary voice to Mumtaz Khan’s eco-friendly designs, symbolizing how modern influence can champion traditional crafts and environmental consciousness.

Mumtaz Khan’s design journey continues to redefine excellence, known for his intricate detailing and regal aesthetics that highlight the grandeur of Indian couture. His grand finale collection was completed with sparkling statement jewellery pieces from the event Partner and Co-curator Dhanani Jewels, giving the ensembles a finishing touch of timeless luxury.
Celebrating Diversity & Inclusion Through Fashion
What made the evening even more powerful was its inclusive narrative. At the heart of this grand spectacle was District Governor Chetan Desai’s visionary concept: to craft a finale that united fashion with Rotary’s values of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). Designers from across India were invited to present their collections—bringing together creativity from diverse geographies and traditions, reinforcing the idea that just as Rotary is for all, fashion is for all.
In a touching gesture of community upliftment, a special showcase by Manubhai Jewellers—the renowned house from Borivali—featured the donation of specially designed mobility bikes for differently-abled individuals, aimed at empowering livelihoods and spreading dignity.
In addition to Mumtaz Khan’s show-stopping finale, the evening featured exclusive collections from celebrated designers whose collections added immense depth and diversity to the fashion narrative of the evening:

●Hari Anand (Kochi) – acclaimed for his minimalist yet powerful silhouettes and luxurious fabric language.

The glamorous runway looks were brought to life by Hair & Makeup Partner Rajesh Patil, ensuring each model radiated confidence and charm aligned with the designer’s vision.
The entire show was brilliantly choreographed by industry veteran Lovell Prabhu from Pune, who transformed the event into an immersive fashion spectacle. Lovell was supported backstage by the energetic team of NIF Global, Pimpri-Chinchwad, who brought creativity and technical precision to the show’s execution.
